This boy can't get enough of humans. His eyes are always focused on the cat room door to open and he can't really seem to comprehend what he's doing in a cage surrounded by felines. Could it be that he's only a cat? Impossible! He has a very human face, he might not be the handsomest guy on the block but he makes up for it with his great personality!!
Am I exaggerating about him??? NOT a bit!! He's ALL THAT AND MORE!!
This boy is just not going to quit until he finds a home, permanent or foster. It is hard for the staff to see such an usual boy still be looking for a home. But, he's not like a parrot that you can cover at night, he's always there waiting in the cat room for that door to open. One day he will find himself a home. I AM only his adoring assistant. We would love to go on vacation but won't be able to take the family dog.
We thought it might be a nice trade if someone was interested in maybe trying out having a dog and also take care of our need too.
Our dog is a Male German Shepard mix named Shep! He is a big LOVE and a GREAT dog who loves to be with people. He would need to stay at a home with a fenced yard and have someone who would want to do things with him like go to the beach, play catch or just go for walks and give him lots of love. Also, he's great with kids, but probably not babies who might pinch him, pull his tail or crawl up on him when he's sleeping.
If you think you might be interested please give us a call. We don't know where, when or for how long we'd vacation. We first need to find someone to take Shep.

He was surrendered to the shelter by a man who said he had "too many dogs". He gave the wrong one away. RADAR is fantastic. He is an energetic dog with a SMILE on his face and an upbeat personality. We are looking for help with or homes for 5 rescue kittens. Their story isn't unlike the many kittens who end up in shelters, They mother is a feral cat who lives in the yard of a Friend. She was abandoned by her owners at some point and is now so skiddish we have been unable to successfully Trap her and have her spayed. Now we find ourselves in the unfortunate situation of finding her 5 kittens. They are exactly 81/2 weeks old, eating hard food, curious and unafraid of humans. They are currently living outdoors and we are desperate to find homes for these little babies. We can not stand the thought of them wandering off and being killed by other animals, or adding to the overpopulation. Because they are so unafraid and clearly do not show mothers feral tendencies we feel they are GREAT candidates for re-homing.

What we need is someone (or someones) who are willing to either offer homes to these kittens (they do NOT need to go together) or someone willing to take them in to foster until homes can be found! We WILL NOT charge any fee whatsoever as long as we can insure they are going to the right people!!

If you can help please contact me ASAP the longer these babies are outside the worse the situation becomes.

Misty, our 6 1/6 month shih tzu needs a home.

I bought Misty when she was 9 weeks old, and she's been in our family with my kids ever since!

It pains me to find a new home for her, but due to a family members severe illness, and the need for me to be with them as often as possible, Misty isn't going to get the love and affection she deserves.

Shes a great little girl. Mild mannered and friendly, and housebroken. Shes current on all her vaccinations, and was due to be spayed after her first heat (Vets recommendation). She is not registered, so please do not ask for papers.
She's petite....will probably be about 11 pounds full grown.

I am asking an adoption fee of $285. This isn't close to what we've paid between buying her, the vet care and general costs like grooming. $150 of that will be RETURNABLE to the adopter once they present me with documentation from a Veterinarian that she has been SPAYED.

I am directly accross the street from a fenced-in dog park on Collingwood street. I am only a 10 minute walk from Dolores Park, too.

If your dog likes to be brushed and combed, I will do a fine job here, too. I am adept at ball throwing (with special ball chuck), rope pulling tug-of-war, and lots of rubbing. I also have wholesome biscuit treats. We go for play-time 3 times a day, unless your dog prefers less or more.....I taylor the activity according to your dog's specific needs/desires/energy.

I have years of experience caring for dogs. I grew a over-night dog-care business over a 3 1/2 period of time, in my live-work loft in SOMA, until the building sold, and I was forced to move. I am now in a fine flat, and am allowed to have one dog at a time. So your dog will be pampered. Among my clients include veternarian's dogs, doctor's dogs, and other professionals dogs.

I have experience with older dogs, but you must consider that there are 8 steps up in the front. If your dog is 30 lbs or less, it is possible for me to carry him or her on the stairs.

Only dogs that are beyond the house-training stage, and are NOT big on barking, and do not have separation anxiety. Up-to-date on shots record from your vet is required, and a interview visit (just like all the other professional dog care facilities) I welcome well-behaved dogs. A simple short registration form is also required, which will help me in caring for and feeding your dog.

I am a substitute teacher, but will not be teaching when I care for your dog.
My rate is $85.00 for a 24 hour period.

Hi. My name is Yoshi. I am pictured here with Artemis, one of the three resident, rescued cats also here at SaveABunny. I am an absolutely adorable, very small, neutered boy rabbit. Dr. Harvey thinks I am between 4-6 years old. I was originally brought into the shelter with very severe wounds that looked suspiciously like road rash from being thrown out of a car.

For the first few weeks at SaveABunny I lived at a foster home with a doctor and his wife who is a nurse. They soaked and cleaned my wounds several times a day so that I would heal and not get an infection. When I was stronger I spent several months in a foster home with someone who loved me very much. She is now needed to foster another bunny who needs her special touch, so I am back at SaveABunny hoping that someone will fall in love with me soon and adopt me. I am lonely.

Because of my very small size and nervous nature, I'd prefer to be in an adult only home. I'm so cute and entertaining that I will make you smile!

Red Tail Boa Needs New Loving Home ASAP (santa rosa)

I have about a 6' long Red Tail Boa. The snake is 4 1/2 years old and I'm going to guess between 8 and 10 lbs. I am moving this week and can no longer care for it. The snake has never been probed so I do not know it's sex but as it grows, due to the shape of its tail, I believe it to be female. The snake comes with a 6'x 4'x 2' cage made of wood and fiber glass bought from Vivarium in the East Bay and still has the original receipt. The cage was worth about $750 not including the small custom work I did to it myself. It's an extremely nice layout with two doors, one on each side. It also comes with lights, timer, water bowl, logs and filler for the bottom. I am looking for a home that can take good care of the snake, hopefully someone who has a passion for reptiles and knows how to handle and care for them. I will be asking for an adoption fee of about $200 because I want someone who is serious about taking good care of this pet. I am looking for a person who has time to handle the snake frequently and clean the cage and feed it on a regular basis. Please only serious inquiries. I am sorry I do not have pictures.
